Pete MacLoghlin, Frank Marett,Peter Hamley,Keith Buchanan & Gord Schmidt decided to check out the conditions after phone discussions between Peterborough, Oshawa & Norwood because there was a chance of rain & we were unsure of the road conditions + if the snow might be wet & sticky but as the photos show conditions were ideal for skiing with dry powdery snow from an overnight snowfall. The snow was starting to become a bit sticky as we crossed Red Fox, as the temperature climbed from -5 C to 0 C.We skied a 12 km loop starting up Kawartha to Owl & the Tanney cabin, then down Kenner to Wolf, to Trillium, across Red Fox to Kawartha.
